Michael “Mick” Grabowski

Michael “Mick” Grabowski, 77, of Pinckneyville, Ill. formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born on June 19, 1939 in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the Pinckneyville Nursing & Rehab Center, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Mick was a retired Union Iron Worker from Local 392, East St. Louis, Ill.  He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and a Lifetime member of VFW Post 6865, Coulterville, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Donald Grabowski and stepfather, Frank Anderson.

Surviving are his three sons, Keith Grabowski of Collinsville, Ill., Curtis (April) Grabowski of Texas and Rowdy (Lisa) Grabowski of Nebraska; five grandchildren; his mother, Cleo Angela, nee Rozanski, Anderson of Troy, Ill.;  brother, David (Laura) Anderson of Collinsville, Ill.; sister, Sandy Gritzmacher of Troy, Ill.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Herbert A. Kassly Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill., with Fr. Alan Hunter officiating.  Interment will be in St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
