Timothy P. "Tim" Donnelly, 53, of New Douglas, formerly of Highland, IL died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 6:30 a.m. at his residence. He was born in St. Louis, MO on September 16, 1955 to Joseph C. and Evelyn L. (Vogt) Donnelly and they are both deceased. He married Lori Dawson, and she survives.
Also survived by: 4 sons, Paul Dawson, Michael Dawson, Curtis Hood, all of New Douglas, IL and Justin (Anna) Hood of Highland, IL; two grandchildren - Evyana Hood - Highland, IL and Kyler Hood of Carlyle, IL; two sisters and four brothers: Kerry (Edd) Foulks - Cahokia, IL; Dan (Mary) Donnelly - Pacific, MO; Michael Donnelly, Janesville, WI, Joe (Linda) Donnelly, Arnold, MO; Laurie (Glenn) Maiden, Arnold, MO; and Patrick Donnelly of St. Louis, MO.
He served in the U.S. Army, and he retired as head cook at Diamond Mineral Springs, Grantfork, IL.
VISITATION: Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the Meridith Funeral Home from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
FUNERAL: Saturday, January 24, 2009 @ 11:00 A.M. at the Meridith Funeral Home in Highland, IL with Deacon Ron Hesson of St. Paul Church in Highland, IL officiating. Burial in gullick Cemetery, Sebastopol, IL
