Paul R. Dawson, 17, of New Douglas, IL died July 9, 2009 at Staunton Memorial Hospital, Staunton, IL. He was born October 28, 1991 in Maryville, IL to Donald R. and Lori, nee Leroy, Dawson.
Survivors include: Father - Donald Dawson, St. Louis, MO; Mother - Lori Dawson, New Douglas, IL; 3 Brothers - Curtis Hood, New Douglas, IL; Justin (Anna) Hood, Highland, IL; Michael Dawson, New Douglas, IL; 1 Niece - Evyana Hood, Highland, IL; 1 Nephew - Kyler Hood, New Douglas, IL; several Aunts and Uncles.
Preceded in death by: Grandparents: Doug & Julie Leroy and Bob and Eileen Dawson; Step-Father Timothy Donnelly.
He was a student at Highland H.S., entering his Senior Year, and a Utility helper during summer months. A member of the First Baptist Church, Alhambra, IL; Youth Group at Church, and Future Farmers of America.
VISITATION: 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2009 at First Baptist Church, Alhambra, IL.
FUNERAL: Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at the Church @ 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Gause and Pastor Matt Candlish officiating with burial in Gullick Cemetery, Rural Highland, IL.
