William “Bill” Pearl Locklar, 76, of Albion, IL passed from this life to the next on November 18, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.
Bill was born March 31, 1943 in Shawneetown, IL to Vesta Sue (Milligan) and James Harrison Locklar. He married Juanita Ready on August 4, 1962 in North Aurora, IL and she survives.
He worked in the oil fields and enjoyed camping and fishing. He was a good husband, and the best father you could ask for.
Bill is survived by Juanita, his wife of 57 years; three daughters: Carolyn (Hal Collier) Goldman, Susan (Frank) Frazier, and Valerie (Tracy) Bare; one son: William Locklar; one sister, Regina Kessler; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren with three more “on the way!”
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sons: Steven, Robert, and Jonathan; one sister, Juanita Suits; and two grandchildren: Darrell and Christina.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home in Albion. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 23 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Albion.
Memorials may be made to The Hope House and envelopes will be available at the service.
