To Reahnna, Josh, Ian, and your families, and to Sherrie’s friends and siblings, our team at Guidehouse extends our sincere condolences with the news of Sherrie’s passing. Everyone knew Sherrie as having the brightest, bubbly, most positive personality, every day… it seemed nothing ever bothered her, even though we all knew she was at times suffering. Sherrie was an absolute model friend and co-worker, and she will be dearly missed by all.

I had the distinct privilege of working with Sherrie for a little over a year, 2017-18. Even with everything that was going on, she worked harder, gave more, and generally had a better attitude about work, life, and everything else than I thought possible. Above all, she gushed and bragged about each and every one of you, her family, endlessly. We’ve never met, but I feel like I know you. Sherrie’s is a loss to be mourned and a legacy to be treasured.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Sherrie off and on for the last couple of years and even better I had the pleasure of calling her a friend. She always had the most positive outlook on life and a smile, laugh that would light up a room. I am sad that I won’t get to hear that laugh again but joyful knowing she is a peace and suffering no more. To her 3 children, grandchildren and siblings, I know what it is like to lose that someone special in your life. I lost my mom about 9 months ago and my father-in-law 2 weeks after that.. The pain of going through this is difficult but that to will go away and you’ll have many years of memories that will live inside of you for years to come. My prayers are with each of you over the next several weeks. May God Bless you and your families.
