    DOROTHY JEAN “JEANNE” WILLIAMS, 81, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Westwood Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Springdale.

    Jeanne was born in the family home on March 16, 1937 in Cisne, Illinois to Charles “Don” Molt and Elberta “Bert” Stanford Molt.  She married Jackie D. Williams on June 19, 1955 and he survives.

    Jeanne followed her husband throughout his twenty-five-year Air Force career, eventually settling in Springdale, Arkansas in 1976. She worked in retail at C & C gifts in downtown Springdale. She loved working in her yard and making beautiful flower arrangements for her home.  She truly had a passion for all kinds of flowers.

    Jeanne is survived by her husband, Jackie, one son, Michael (Sue) Williams of Fayetteville, AR, one daughter, Sherye (Mike) Brown of Noble, IL; A brother, Larry (Pam) Molt of Effingham, IL; Brother-in-law Leon (Valerie) Williams of Butler, GA, sister-in-law Ruth Williams of Mt. Erie, IL, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren with a great grandchild due in February. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Tony Fink, brother-in-law, Jess Williams and sister-in-law, Reba Williams.

    A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 5 pm to 7 pm. at the Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home in Cisne, IL. The funeral service will be held at 10 am Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Cisne cemetery.

    Memorials may be made to The Circle of Life Hospice out of Springdale, Arkansas and will be accepted at the funeral home.

    Dear Jackie and Family, we are so sorry for your loss. Jeanne worked for many years for Mom (Blanche) at C & C Gifts. She was always kind and cheerful and a hard worker. Mom is now in assisted living in Springdale and she sends her sympathy to you all as well. May the Lord Jesus be your comfort in the midst of your grief. Love and blessings, Bill and Karin Coker

    I enjoyed working with her at C & C Gifts in Springdale and considered her a good friend.

    I went to school with Dorothy from the 5th grade on and she was always a very nice girl. Will look for her grave when we get down and stop by there as my parents are at the Cisne Cemetery also. Praying for all the family and friends.
