    Charlotte Ann Wood, 77, of Albion, IL passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on November 27, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.

    She was born November 27, 1941 in Wabash County, IL to Nellie Catherine (Brines) and Albert LaVaughn Clodfelter. She married Roger Dale Wood on January 19, 1958 at Northside Baptist Church in Grayville, IL and he preceded her in death on December 24, 1988.

    Charlotte worked in assembly at Champ for 35 years. She enjoyed camping, fishing, horseback riding, traveling, and junk shopping. She loved baking with her grandkids and having tea parties.

    She is survived by four daughters: Cathy (Jason White) Wayland of Albion, Gaye Lynn (Bill) Wood of Albion, Terri Wood of Albion, and Misty (Mike) Sandefur of Henderson, KY; one son, James (Pamela K.) Wood of Maud, IL; longtime companion Joseph Joe Williams; four sisters: Marilyn Henton, Marjorie Williams, Connie Knight, and Diana Smith; two brothers: Darrell Clodfelter and Richard Clodfelter; and sister-in-law Patricia Clodfelter. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

    Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roger, son Roger William “Bill” Wood, brother Robert Clodfelter, sisters Faye Wayland and Betty Clodfelter, and daughter-in-law Barbara (Jackson) Wood.

    Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home in Albion, IL. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 1 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery in Albion.

    Memorials may be made to the family to offset funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
