Vurla R. Kloos, 88, of Lebanon, IL, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, O'Fallon, IL.
Vurla was born February 20, 1930, to Daniel and Dorothy (nee Griesbaum) Baer in Trenton, IL. On June 4, 1949, she married George Kloos in Summerfield, IL.
She was in the banking business for many years, then served as City Treasurer for the City of Lebanon. She enjoyed bowling, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and NASCAR. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and attended as many sporting events as she could.
She is survived by her Children, Linda (Jim) Trame, Lebanon, IL, Karen (Ron) Sensel, Fredericktown, MO, Richard (Sharon) Kloos, Trenton, IL, and Laurie (Al) Harris, Trenton, IL; Grandchildren, Matthew (significant other Donna Roth) Trame, Douglas (Jennifer) Trame, Nicholas (Joanna) Trame, Jana Trame, Stacy (Brad) Jackson, Kyle (Melissa) Sensel, Shandra (Ryan) Seger, Georgina (Matt) Weidner, Michael (Janelle) Kloos, Eric (Becky) Harris, Amy Harris; Eleven Great Grandchildren, plus one due in September; Five Step Great Grandchildren; Brother-in-Law, Robert Kloos, Arizona; Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Dorothy Baer; Husband, George Kloos (12-29-2017).
