Cleona R. Woll, nee Horst, 90 of Highland, IL formerly of Nashville, IL died June 14, 2007 at her residence. She was born in Hoyleton, IL February 16, 1917 to Henry and Rose (Pobanz) Horst, and they are both deceased. On July 21, 1940 she married Melvin J. Schorfheide in Nashville, IL and he died December 11, 1978. She then married Edgar Woll on December 20, 1980 and he preceded her in death August 25, 2001.
Survivors are two nephews, Dan (Carol) Heggemeier, Nashville, IL; Gary (Linda) Schindelar, Ashley, IL; a niece, Linda (Cliff) Hale, Morton, IL; three stepsons, Danny (Jean) Woll, Greenville, IL; Dennis (Pat) Woll, Pocahontas, IL; Rick (Debbie) Woll, Highland, IL; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Rose Marie Heggemeier. Mrs. Woll held memberships at Evangelical UCC, Highland, IL; Womens Guild at Church; Madison County Family and Community Education; Madison County Farm bureau; Past President Washington County Home Extension and member of Weinheimer Senior Citizens, Highland, IL.
There is no visitation
Memorial Service: Sunday, June 17, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Evangelical United Church of Christ, Highland, with the Rev. Dr. David Beebe, Interim Senior Pastor, officiating. Burial in St. Paul Cemetery, Nashville, IL at a later date.
Memorials may be offered to Radio Ministry of EVangelical UCC.
