Loretta L. Weil (nee Herbstreith), 88, of Lebanon, IL died Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Cedar Ridge Health Care Center, Lebanon, IL.
Loretta was born May 7, 1923 to Henry and Martha Anna (nee Eckhardt) Herbstreith in New Baden, IL. She married Everett Weil and moved to Lebanon, IL.
Loretta worked as a welder at the Hat Factory during World War II. After the war she became a homemaker and farmer.
She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lebanon, IL and a former member of Lebanon Senior Citizens group and Emerald Mound Grange.
She is survived by 2 sons, Terry (Mary) Weil, Lebanon, IL, Teddy (Donna Jo) Weil, Lebanon, IL; 5 grandchildren, Travis, Tricia, Tiffany, Drew, Cody Weil.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Martha Anna Herbstreith; her husband, Everett Weil; 2 sons, Bradford Weil, in infancy, and Thomas Weil; 1 brother, Norman Herbstreith.
Memorials may be made to Passages Hospice or St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lebanon, IL.
