Linda Marie Tempinson, nee Mueller, 54, of Lebanon, IL, born November 13, 1954 died Friday, March 6, 2009 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO., after a courageous six-year battle against breast cancer. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was a Registered Nurse at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, IL. She received her nursing diploma from St. Luke's in St. Louis, MO and her BSN degree from SIU-E, in Illinois. She was preceded in death by her father Francis "Tony" Mueller.
Surviving is her husband of 30 years, Donald C. Tempinson, whom she married on June 17, 1978 at Scott AFB, IL. Her Daughter Lindsay A. Tempinson (Michael Vargesko) of Lexington Park, MD and her son Donald W. Tempinson of Lebanon, IL. She was extremely proud of her daughter and son.
Also surviving is her mother Rosalie M. Mueller of Newman, GA; sisters Vicki (Gordon) Peludat of Ridgecrest, CA; Mary (Timothy) Van Fleet of Ladd, IL; Laura (Graham) Lang of Newman, GA; Brothers Michael (Lisa Rodriguez) Mueller of Lebanon, IL; Stephen (Lisa) Mueller of Lebanon, IL; Robert (Kelly) Mueller of Godfrey, IL and Phillip (Tina) Mueller of Edwardsville, IL; mother-in-law Mary Tempinson of Chicago, IL; brother-in-law Dale Tempinson (Eva Goodwin) of St. Louis, MO; sister-in-law Deborah White (James Hudson) of Chicago, IL; numerous nephews and nieces; and her precious grand niece, Goddaughter Ella Rosalie Sartain and grand nephews.
Linda loved to collect lighthouses and angels. To borrow from her favorite Christmas movie, "I like Life! Life likes me! Life and I fairly fully agree." Now she dances the dance of life with the angels.
