Henrietta C. Stewart, (nee Long) 84, of Pocahontas, IL died March 29, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital, Breese, IL. She was born July 1, 1925 in Greenville, IL to Albert and Shelley Leon (nee Mathias) Long. She married Melvin Stewart November 8, 1940 in St. Charles, MO.
Henrietta was a member of the First Baptist Church, Pocahontas, IL and Royal Neighbors of America. She worked at Wicks Organ Factory in Highland, IL; Powhatten Motel, Pocahontas, IL; in food service at both Greenville and Highland Hospitals, and then retired from the Pocahontas Elementary School after 17 years as the Head Cook.

VISITATION: Friday, April 2, 2010 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday April 3, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Meridith Funeral Home, Pocahontas, IL.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Tom Hoffman and Rev. Ron Lindley officiating.
BURIAL: Robinson Cemetery, Pocahontas, IL.
