Frances J. “Fran” Mueller (nee Baer), 83, of Lebanon, IL died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Cedar Ridge Health Care Center, Lebanon, IL.
Fran was born December 12, 1927 to Samuel and Viola (nee Peter) Baer in Deer Creek, OK. On July 23, 1949 she married James R. “Onion” Mueller at the Menonite Church, Summerfield, IL.
She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for her husband’s construction business. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lebanon, IL, Women’s Fellowship at the Church, a former member of the choir and the Bell choir, and a member of the prayer circle. She was also a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department. Fran was a founding board member of the Lebanon Education Foundation.
She is survived by 3 children, Don (Sharon) Mueller, Lebanon, IL, Steven Mueller, Lebanon, IL, Jan (David) Dougherty, Villa Park, IL; 3 grandchildren, Adam (Alicia) Mueller, Lebanon, IL, Daren Mueller, Lebanon, IL, Joshua Dougherty, Villa Park, IL; 1 brother, Kenneth (Annette) Baer, Hot Springs Village, AR; 2 nephews, Jeff (Cherie) Baer, Jim (Julie) Baer; dear cousin Marion Ruth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Viola Baer; her husband, James R. Mueller; 1 sister-in-law, Mary Ann Baer.
