    Jeannine M. Miller, nee Long, 78, of Highland, IL died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital, Highland, IL.  She was born September 26, 1929 in Highland, IL to Melvin and Arita (DePaoli) Long.  She married Raymond Miller May 7, 1951 in St. Louis, MO.  Raymond preceded her in death November 7, 1994.

    Mrs. Miller is also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Anthony Long, John Long, two sisters, Dolores Long and Emma Sego.

    She is survived by one son and six daughters, Stephen Miller, Valencia, CA; Judy Midlick, Vista, CA; Dolores Gatton, San Diego, CA; Diane Scott, Highland, IL; Jeane (Randy) Von Hatten, Highland, Carolyn (Steve) Kampwerth, Carlyle, IL; Linda (Roger) Kloss, Highland, IL; one step-son, Charles (Bonnie) Miller, Noblesville, IN; 14 grandchildren - Scott and Laura Miller;  Carrie (Sean) Englert; Tom, Joe, Christina & Lauren Gatton;  Kenny (Marnie Sonntag) Goss; Brea (Fiance Paul Tabernick) Scott;  Megan & Logan Von Hatten;  Rachele & Jared Kampwerth and Ryan Kloss.  Two great-grandchildren - Luke Englert & Shaylee Goss;  one brother - Melvin (Jeanette) Long, Highland, IL; one sister - Edna Zobrist - Highland, IL; 2 sisters-in-law - Mary Long, Glen Ellyn, IL;  Joan Long, Eldorado, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Jeannine retired from St. Joseph Hospital after 36 years as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant).  She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL.

    Visitation:  Sunday, March 30th from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Monday, March 31st from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. at the Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL.

    Mass of Christian Burial - 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 31th at St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL with Fr. Charles A. Edwards, Pastor, officiating.

    Interment:  St. Joseph Cemetery, Highland, IL

    Memorials:  American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
