    Odesser "Lee" LeFlore, 78 of Lebanon, IL, born July 28, 1929 in Ofahoma, MS, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL.

    He is preceded in death by his wife  Ollie Lee (Heckard) LeFlore whom he married Sept. 30, 1974 and who died June 19, 1986; his parents Henry and Bertha (Dier) LeFlore, one son Phillip Heckard, two sisters and five brothers.

    He is survived by one son, SSGT Duane (Rita) LeFlore, Cannon AFB, NM;  two daughters, Lana (William) Reaves, Atlanta, IL; Debra Heckard, Monroe, Louisiana;  nine grandchildren, one great grandchild; one brother - Claude LeFlore, Carthage, MS;  one sister, Yvonne LeFlore, Milwuakee, Wisconsin; one niece, Linda LeFlore Crockett, Madison, IL.

    Mr. LeFlore was a veteran serving in the US Army in Germany and Japan;  He retired as a Chef from Scott AFB, and also worked as a police officer in E. St. Louis, IL.   He served as an ordained minister at Union Baptist Church, Lovejoy, IL and later served as Associate Minister at Cherry Street Community Church of God, Lebanon, IL.

    Visitation:  Wednesday, April 9, 2008 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL and then on Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon at the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Thomastown, MS.

    Funeral:  Saturday, April 12, 2008 @ 12:00 Noon at the Church.  Burial in New Jerusalem Cemetery, Thomastown, MS.
