John R. "Butch" Hutchinson, 69, of Pocahontas, IL died Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 12:44 p.m. at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. He was born February 18, 1939 in St. Louis, MO to Ralph and Minnie Mary (Neill) Hutchinson and they are both deceased. He married Coreen M. "Corky" Fox on October 10, 1997 at First United Methodist Church, Pocahontas, IL, and she survives.
Also survived by two children, Edith (Michael) Brady, Belleville, IL; Robert (Judy) Hutchinson, New Athens, IL; three granddaughters, Melissa Snow, Belleville, IL; Jennifer Thompson, Belleville, IL; Samantha Hutchinson, New Athens, IL; Sister, Barbara Kopsie, Godfrey, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Also preceded in death by - two brothers, Jim and Ronnie Hutchinson, and one brother-in-law, Michael Kopsie.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Was employed as an Airport Planner (retired) having worked in Illinois as well as Southern California. He was prexently serving on the village Board for the Village of Pocahontas.
