Edward J. Hoffner, 67, of O’Fallon, MO, died on Saturday, February 26th, 2011.
Ed is survived by his wife, life partner, and high school sweetheart, Rita Hoffner (nee Kuhlman), O’Fallon, MO; sons Keith Hoffner, O’Fallon, MO, and Kurt (Kelly) Hoffner, O’Fallon, MO; and daughters Kim (Michael) Sikora, Highland, IL, and Kristen (Timothy) Conkle, O’Fallon, MO. Ed was also the devoted grandfather to Kyle Hoffner, Cassandra Hoffner, Jake Hoffner, Olivia Hoffner, Samantha Tinker, Morgan Sikora, Katherine Sikora, Nicholas Sikora, Ashton Braun, Regan Conkle, and Benjamin Conkle.
Ed loved going to his lake house and was a dedicated family man. He will be greatly missed by all. Ed enjoyed a long career at Ameren UE (Sioux Plant) before retiring and fulfilling a life-long goal of owning his own lawn/ landscaping business.
Ed gave the ultimate gift by donating his body to medical science.
Visitation with the family is from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Assumption Catholic Church, O’Fallon, MO.
Services: A Memorial Mass will be held at Assumption Catholic Church, 403 N. Main Street O'Fallon, MO on Saturday, March 5th, 2011, at 1:00 p.m.
