    Aneda Rutz (nee Lebegue), 98, of Highland, IL, died Friday March 25, 2016, at St. Joseph Hospital, Highland, IL.

    Aneda was born May 19, 1917, to Octave and Minnie (nee Zobrist) Lebegue in Sebastopol in Highland, IL. On June 26, 1935 she married Wilfred Rutz in Highland, IL.

    She was a member of Grantfork United Church of Christ. She loved to do jigsaw puzzles, geneology and play BINGO.  She was a member of the Kitchen Band, Joy Singers, Homemakers of Madison County, Royal Neighbors, and Woodmen of the World.  Aneda would volunteer whenever she could and she loved to watch people.  She loved to be around her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Octave and Minnie Lebegue (Oct. 21, 1978 and Oct. 8, 1976, respectively); husband, Wilfred Rutz (Aug. 21, 1975); son, Harold Rutz (Nov. 10, 2012); granddaughter, Lauren Rutz (Aug. 25, 2007); brothers and sisters, Harlan Lebegue (Jun. 29, 1996), Lester Lebegue (May 13, 2015), Ordella Rutz (Oct. 12, 2005), Dorothy Mick (Feb. 11, 2007); nephew, Gary Rutz (Aug. 14, 2014); sister-in-law, Arzella Lebegue (May 18, 2001), Monetta Lebegue (Jul. 23, 2014); brother-in-law, Vernon Mick (Sept. 25, 2006).

    Aneda is survived by her children, Delmar (June) Rutz, Eldorado Hills, CA, Keith Rutz, San Francisco, CA, Roger Rutz, Collinsville, IL; daughter-in-law, Betty Rutz; brother, Herman Lebegue; sister-in-law, Janet Lebegue; grandchildren, Terri (Greg) Walter, Tammy (Jim) Blumberg, Tim (Clara) Rutz, Ty (Shamale) Rutz, Aaron (Tracie) Rutz, Ryan Rutz, Sherry (Spencer) Wiggers, Cecily (Ari) Gorfain, Melissa Rutz, Stacey Rutz, Maximillion Rutz; 14 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

    Memorials may be made to Grantfork United Church of Christ.

    Visitation: Tuesday, April 5, 2016, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL, and Wednesday, April 6, 2016, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, at Grantfork United Church of Christ, Grantfork, IL.

    Interment: Highland City Cemetery
