Mary D. Recklein (nee Davis), 81, of Troy, Illinois, died Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.
Mary was born May 3, 1934 to Jesse and Vivian (nee Chandler) Davis in Little Rock, Arkansas. On March 18, 1950, she married William Recklein, Jr.
She loved her husband and family, and owned Touch of Heaven in Florals in Troy, IL. She played the piano at Faith Church in Lebanon for 10 years, at Glad Tidings Church in Fairview Heights for more than 20 years, and at Crossview Independent Assembly Church in O’Fallon for 3 years.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Linda (Jim) Hopkins, Brenda (Loren) Barton, Lori (Leroy) Fix; grandchildren, Timothy, Joy, Tiffany, and Shawn Graves, Brian Courtney, Erika and Michael (Amanda) Barton, and Elisha Fix; great grandchildren, Zachary, Kiley, Elissa, Grayson, and Magdalena; sister, Martha (nee Davis) Recklein; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Vivian Davis; her husband of 64 years, William Recklein, Jr. (June 2014).
Memorials may be made to the family.
