Norma Yunker Harsin, 75, of Lebanon, IL, died Friday, August 23, 2013, at Four Fountains Helia Healthcare, Belleville, IL.
Norma was born October 7, 1937, to Emanuel and Leone (Nee Christman) Yunker, in Jefferson County, IN. On December 26, 1955 she married Dr. Harold Harsin, in Paynesville, IN.
She was a member of 1st United Methodist Church, Lebanon, IL, and also a member of the Women’s Club. She was a good gardener and loved her horses.
She is survived by 4 children, Raymond (Bethsy) Harsin, Swansea, IL, Linda (Tim) Schartung, Mascoutah, IL, Ken (Diane) Harsin, Belleville, IL, Beverly Wise, Jefferson, IN; 6 grandchildren, Rachel Harsin, Tonya (Mike) Harrington, Benjamin and Caleb Harsin, Alexandria and Rebecca Wise; 1 brother, Robert (Betty) Yunker; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emanuel and Leone Yunker; her former husband, Dr. Harold Harsin; 1 brother, Frederick Yunker.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
