Betty Ann Colclasure went to our Lord Jesus Christ on July 30, 2024, at the age of eighty-one.

Betty and Tom soon welcomed the first of two daughters, Pamela Ann, in Montrose, Colorado in 1963. They then moved to Long Beach, California where their second daughter, Amy Alice, was born in 1964. Betty and Tom eventually moved back to Illinois settling in Mattoon and putting down roots. Betty worked at Kraft Foods in Mattoon and attended Mattoon First United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Betty’s honor to Willow Breeze SBL Hospice House in Mattoon, Illinois. Memorial donations will be accepted at the cemetery or may be mailed to the funeral home.

Betty was a very sweet lady. I knew her through her sister in law Ann. She would visit and attend Church with her. My thoughts are prayers are with the family.

She was such a sweet lady! I worked with her at Kraft Foods for many years. She always smiled. So sorry for her daughters!

I was Betty’s aerobics instructor at the Mattoon YMCA. Betty was pretty active in our group before Covid hit. We all shared smiles, conversations, workouts, and meals together. She will be (and has been) missed. Prayers to all the family at her loss.
