Earlean Brown, 89, of Albion Illinois, passed away on June 5, 2024 at Richland Nursing and Rehabilitation in Olney, Illinois.
Born in Ellery, Illinois on July 21, 1934, Earlean was the daughter of Earl and Berneice (Smith) Hauerken. On January 3, 1967, she married Jim Brown at Conway Church in Ellery, Illinois and they enjoyed many happy years together.
Earlean was a homemaker and also worked as a secretary for Jim Brown Welding. She was a member of Browns Chapel United Methodist Church. She loved horses, gardening and her flowers, cooking and especially her family and great grandchildren.
Left to cherish Earlean’s memory are her husband, Jim Brown; daughter, Cathy (Billy) King and son Brad (Toni) Brown; grandchildren Candace (Kyle) Munsey, Josh (Krystle) Brown, and Rebecca (Cory) Fewkes; 8 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Helen Hauerken. She also leaves good friends Luis & Pam Garcia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Cindy Davenport; and a sister Janet Valz.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 10:00 am at Oak Grove Cemetery, Grayville, Illinois.
