Teri Lynn Gonzalez-Sprague, 58, of, Collinsville, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, in Highland, IL.
She was born on March 4, 1965, to Robert and Patricia (nee Palmer) Gonzalez.
Teri loved her family and friends dearly. She, quite literally, always had her door open, it was a strange custom to knock if you were coming over to her house. Her house was the place where everyone gathered, whether it was for food, company, or just a good time. Teri was basically the mother of the neighborhood, was always there for you, and never judged anyone. In her free time Teri enjoyed watching her True Crime shows, or gossiping with friends, while drinking an ice-cold Pepsi. She was funny, sassy, and always knew how to laugh at herself. She was a treasured wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Gonzalez, Patricia Black; stepfather, Dale Black; and loving partner of 30 years, Tony Weeden.
Teri is survived by her children, Jessica Sprague, Courtney Weeden, Whitney Weeden, Tiffany Weeden, Tony Weeden; grandchildren, Gabriel, Hendrix, Selena, Bruno, Savannah, TJ; siblings, Robert Gonzalez, Timothy Gonzalez, Sheri Gonzalez; nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
Memorials may be made to the family to help cover funeral costs.
Visitation: Friday, October 27, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.
