John M. Choma, 62, of Collinsville, IL passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.
He was born on December 10, 1960, in East St. Louis, Illinois to John and Sophia (nee Komar) Choma.
John was an installer in the pool and spa industry since the 1980’s. In his free time, he liked to build things, like electronics and small robots. He also enjoyed playing his guitar.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Sophia Choma.
John is survived by his children, Brian (Heather) Choma, Shawn Choma; brother, Mark Choma.

Dad I miss you so much I truly loved my dad with all my heart. Brian Choma . I think about you every day dad .
All I want is the phone to ring and it be my dad.
Please God take special care of my father he showed me I could be loved even when no one else wanted me!!!
