We will miss Aunt Shirley. She reminded me so much of Grandma Dunlap. I was so shocked she knew me. They both knew me. There were always a million people around but she took time to just matter of factly tell me well this is how you do life and trust God. It was a quiet confidence that encouraged me and helped me feel loved and included. I like how her kids do that as well.
Even though I was not physically around her a lot her relationship with my dad and her ability to care for him as a child lived on and has changed who I am And who my kids will be. I am so glad she is rejoicing in Heaven right now and there is hope that everyone who chooses Jesus can see her again. Praying for you all now.
