Wayne O. Worms, 67, of Pocahontas, IL, died Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Fair Oak Nursing Home, Greenville, IL.
Wayne was born April 14, 1945 to George and Genevieve (Nee Tribout) Worms in Belleville, IL.
He was a great man with a big heart. He loved animals. He would give the shirt off of his back if someone needed it.
He is survived by 1 son, Wayne Robert Worms; 1 daughter, Deanna Sue Frazier; 1 step-daughter, Lisa (fiancée Jamie Schlesinger) Crouch; 6 grandchildren, Zena Thompson, Wayne Worms III, Taylor Worms, Tonia Worms, Tyler Holcomb, Tiffany Holcomb; 1 great-grandchild; 3 sisters, Carol Jean Gerstner, Shirley (Frankie) Langenhorst, Karen (Roy) Kreke; 1 brother, Gary (Mary) Johnson; nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or Cancer Society.
