    Rosemary C. Isaak, 92, of rural route Carlyle died Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Faith Care Center, Highland, Illinois. 

    She was born on July 21, 1922, at Breese, IL, the daughter of Henry and Catherine (nee Ratermann) Kues.  She married Clem R. Isaak at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, Breese, IL, on May 9, 1944, and he preceded her in death on May 13, 1988. 

    Rosemary worked as a bookkeeper for a number of years for Southern Illinois Breeders Association, and as a General Motors accountant for 11 years at Klasing Motors Co in Trenton.  While she was a greeter at Walmart for 15 years, she also was the secretary/treasurer for Carlyle Southern Water District for 21 years.

    She was born and grew up in Breese and graduated from Aviston Community High School.  She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Beckemeyer, IL.  She loved to travel and enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, and was an avid crossword puzzle fan.  She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.   

    Mrs. Isaak is survived by two sons, Gary (Charlotte) Isaak, Highland, IL, and Eugene “Gene” Isaak, Massachusetts; 7 grandchildren, Laurie (Lance) Whorton, Jeffrey (Karen) Isaak, Jennifer (Nathan) Korte, Jesse (Jeff) Lowe, Anna (David) Isaak-Robinson Ross, Maxwell Isaak, Sophia Isaak; 9 great grandchildren; two sisters, Henrietta Isaak, and Florence (John) Duncan; special cousin, Marguerite Dauphin; numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clem Isaak; beloved grandson, Brian Isaak; 2 brothers, Ray and Orville Kues; 2 sisters, Ann Burhorn and Alice Fields; 1 brother-in-law, Al Isaak;1 sister-in-law, Mary Kues.

    Memorials may be made to Cardinal Glennon Hospital or American Cancer Society. 

    Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015, from 9:00 to 10:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL. 

    Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 10:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church with Father Scott Snider officiating.

    Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, Beckemeyer, IL.
