    Mary L. Manville (nee Merkle), 80, of Highland, IL, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at her residence. 

    Mary was born April 22, 1935, to Walter and Verna (nee Keilbach) Merkle in Highland, Illinois.  On March 19, 1954, she married Jim Manville at the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Highland, Illinois. 

    She was a member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Highland, IL.  After retirement, she decided to do some travelling, which she really enjoyed.  She loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

    She is survived by her husband, Jim Manville, Highland, IL; sons, Thomas James (Susan M.) Manville, Highland, IL, and Scott Allan Manville, Highland, IL; grandchildren, Craig Allan (Amber) Manville, Timothy James (Ashley) Manville, Blake Allan Manville (fiance Maria Minton), and Nicholas Allan Manville; great-grandchildren; Camden, Brinnely, and Emmory Manville; sisters, Viola “Tootie” Reding, Highland, IL, Peggy (John) Oravec, Highland, IL, and Evelyn Rommerskirchen, Pocahontas, IL; nieces and nephews. 

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Verna Merkle; sisters, Florence LeBegue and Ann VonHatten; brother, Waldo “Bud” Merkle.

    Memorials may be made to Evangelical United Church of Christ, Highland, IL.
