    Marvin R. Bleisch, 94, of Highland, IL, died Saturday, December 3, 2016, at St. Joseph Hospital, Highland, IL.

    Marvin was born May 7, 1922, to Raymond and Milda (Nee Foehner) Bleisch, in St. Rose, IL. On June 20, 1948, he married Alice Hediger.

    He served in the Infantry in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre during WW II. He worked at Wick’s Organ for 55 years, and farmed in his spare time. Marvin traveled to Hawaii with his wife, and also, took a bus trip across the United States.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Milda Bleisch.

    Marvin is survived by his wife of 68 years, Alice Bleisch, Highland, IL; children, Ronald (Janet) Bleisch, Glen Carbon, IL, Janice (Joseph) Temple, Palatine, IL; 6 grandchildren.
