Lillian G. Winkler (Nee Ulrich), 98, of Highland, IL, died Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Faith Care Center, Highland, IL.
Lillian was born April 4, 1917, to Henry and Ilma (nee Lydick) in St. Louis, MO. She married Frank A. Winkler in Richmond Heights, MO.
Lillian was an Executive Secretary for the Superintendant of the Special School District in St. Louis, MO. She was a member of First Congregational Church and American Legion Auxiliary Lifetime Member. She loved to needle point, sew and knit. She was easy to get along with and loved all of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ilma Ulrich; husband, Frank A. Winkler; son, John Kendrick Warner; sister, Marion Lange.
She is survived by a son, Richard (Christine) Warner, Highland, IL; grandchildren, John Andrew (Donna) Warner, Sarah Christine (Steven) Fort, Phillip Kendrick (Tiffany) Warner; great-grandchildren, Vanessa Warner, Tiffany Sarah Fort, Joel Steven Fort, Cameron Wylie, Emma Warner; 2 great-great-grandchildren; niece, Kay Lynn Johnson; nephew, Jimmy Lange.
