Judith A. Ogden (nee Cotts), 73, of Lebanon, IL, died Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Judy was born November 25, 1942, to James and Elizabeth “Betty” (nee Brinkman) Cotts in Belleville, IL.  On September 10, 1960, she married Richard “Dick” Ogden in Lebanon, IL.

Judy was a Secretary for many years at Scott AFB working for the Military Airlift Command.  She attended St. Paul United Church of Christ in Lebanon and had a strong faith in God. When she was younger, she was a member of Jobs Daughters and Eta Phi Zeta Sorority.  She looked forward to and enjoyed catching up with her high school classmates during Lebanon’s Firemen Picnic.  Judy always put her family first and never wanted the spotlight, putting everyone else ahead of her own needs.  She loved watching her grandkids’ athletic events, making every game possible.  Judy was a gentle soul with a warm heart and a genuine smile for everyone.  Her favorite sayings were “Everything’s going to be OK” and “Enough about me.”

She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Ginger L. (John) Johnson and children, Julianne (Andy Chaffin) and Taylor; Richard Todd Ogden and children, Christian and Lauren; Lori A. (Rod) Reinneck and children, Noah, Emily, and Abigail; Michael J. (Natalie) Ogden and children, Brittany and Brandon, all of Lebanon, IL; Stephen D. (Barb) Ogden and children, Jonah, Adam, and Marley of Troy, IL; brother, Jack (Jane) Cotts and children, Neal (Jaime) Cotts and David (Kate) Cotts; Sister-in-law, Ginger (Dennis) Haeuber and children, Brian (Pollyanna) Haeuber and Jim (Cyndi) Haeuber; her Dog, Holly; numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Ogden (2012); parents, James and Elizabeth “Betty” Cotts.
