    Glen A. Hagemann, 89, of Highland, IL, formerly of Lebanon, IL died February 2, 2007 peacefully in his sleep at Highland Healthcare Center, Highland, IL. 

    He was born March 1, 1917, son of a pioneer family in O'Fallon Twp., near Lebanon, IL to Arthur and Elizabeth (Lurtz) Hagemann.  On October 6, 1943 he married Helen E. Porter (his dear beloved wife of 61 years) at United Methodist Church, St. Jacob, IL and she preceded him in death on December 18, 2004.

    He was also preceded in death by a son, James L. Hagemann - January 2, 1997; 2 brothers, Arthur and Herbert Hagemann; 2 sisters, Mildred & Viola Hagemann.

    He was a retired lifelong grain and livestock farmer; a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lebanon, IL; the Emerald Mound Grange in Lebanon, and the Farm Bureau.

    He is survived by 1 daughter, Janet M. (Richard J.) Quinn - Highland, IL; 1 brother-in-law, Jack Leder, St. Jacob, IL;  1 sister-in-law, Grace Leder, St. Jacob, IL; 3 nephews and 2 nieces.

    There is no visitation.   A private committal service will be held at College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL on Monday, Feb. 5, 2007.   Memorials may be offered to the Highland Home, 1600 Walnut St. Highland, IL  62249
