    Delmar R. Tribout, 88, of Tamms, IL, died Sunday, January 26, 2014, at his residence.

    Delmar was born April 4, 1925 to Herbert S. and Freida (Nee Wagner) Tribout in Belleville, IL. He married Evelyn Dula in Belleville, IL, and she preceded him in death on October 31, 1987, he then married Doris (Nee Wise) Keck on September 25, 1996, in Belleville, IL, and she preceded him in death on March 12, 2005.

    He was a Boiler Fireman at the Stagg Brewery, Belleville, IL for 42 years and a member of Villa Ridge Baptist Church, Villa Ridge, IL. Delmar served in the US Army during WWII, European Theatre, landed on Normandy Beach, earned a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He was a loving husband and father. He loved to fish and ride around the lake with his dog, Cindy.

    He is survived by 1 son, Terry (Nancy) Tribout, Cahokia, IL; 3 step-children, Robyn (Harry) Swan, Terry Keck and Edward Keck; 3 grandchildren, Ian Tribout, Danielle Tribout, Nicole (Keith) Smith; 3 great grandchildren, Killian Tribout, Rylee Smith, Bryce Smith and 1 sister, Carolina DaRougna.

    Delmar was also preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Freida Tribout; 1 son, Larry Tribout (10/22/2011); 1 daughter, Dee Ann Tribout (12/12/2011); 1 brother, August Tribout (10/9/2012).

    Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern IL.

    Visitation: Tuesday, February 4, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL.

    Memorial Service: Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL.

    Interment: Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at10:00 am at College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.

    Clergy: Pastor Larry Buckles.
