    Catherine Nadler (nee Smith), 89, of Lebanon, IL, died Friday, January 31, 2014, at her residence.

    Catherine was born October 21, 1924, to Robert and Annie (nee Bass) Smith in Montezuma, TN.  On June 20, 1964, she married Alois “Aly” Nadler in Belleville, IL.

    She enjoyed playing golf, sewing, and quilting, but more than anything, she enjoyed her grandchildren.

    She is survived by 3 sons, Franc (Barb) Richardson, Kinderhook, NJ, Michael (Lucy) Richardson, Anderson, SC, Scott (Vickie) Nadler, Lebanon, IL; 1 son-in-law, James Keim, Belleville, IL; 7 grandchildren, Todd (Kathy) Richardson, Tim Keim, Tom Keim, Tyler (Melissa) Richardson, Jeff (Giovanna) Richardson, Wendy (Ryan) Bignon, Ryan Nadler; 6 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 1 sister, Dorothy (Al) Hale; 2 sisters-in-law, Gerry Richter and Irene Smith; numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Annie Smith; her first husband, Francis Richardson and second husband, Alois Nadler (10/22/2004); 1 daughter, Mary Keim; 4 brothers, Leslie, Robert, Felton, and James Smith; 1 sister, Frances Walker; 3 grandchildren, Deborah Richardson, Beth Anne Richardson, and Michael Nadler.

    Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Multiple Sclerosis Association.

    Visitation:  Thursday, February 6, 2014, from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL.
