Brenda Faye Ward-Mikulait, nee Bonds, 67, of Pocahontas, IL, died Friday, October 30, 2015, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.
Brenda was born on December 8, 1947, to Eddie Glenn and Dorothy Pearl (nee Boren) Bonds, in Smithland, KY. On August 9, 1997, she married Leroy Mikulait at Alpha Omega Church, Collinsville, IL.
She was a member of the Mosaic Church, Highland, IL. She was a Sales Associate at Wal-Mart in Vandalia, IL, for 17 years. She enjoyed family and friends, and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy Mikulait, Pocahontas, IL; 4 children, Karen Ward, Donnellson, IL, Billy Darrell (Laura) Ward, Jr., Collinsville, IL, Susan (Wayne) Duncan, Troy, IL, and Jason Daniel (Stacey) Ward, Greenville, IL; 9 grandchildren, James C. Ward, Spc-4 Gabriel Ward, Donald E. Pruitt, Amber Pruitt, Cheyene Milligan, Megan Duncan, Lance Ward, Bryan Milligan, and Matthew Duncan; 1 great-grandchild, Bayler Wayne Lee; 3 sisters, Violet (Hurshel) Sullivan, Florence (Fred) Heil, Kay Wilson; 5 brothers, Randell (Loretta) Bonds, Phillip (Jorja) Bonds, Terry (Claudia) Bonds, Glenn (Julie) Bonds, Roney (Linda) Bonds; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death her parents, Eddie Glenn and Dorothy Pearl Bonds.
Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society.
